Taipei, June 13 (CNA) Fulong Beach, a seaside resort in northeastern tip of Taiwan, invites former life guards, staff and lunch box sellers who worked there in 1957 to attend its 60th anniversary on June 22.
The Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration, the Tourism Bureau branch that operates the beach resort, announced the message on Tuesday and published several old photographs of the beach.
The resort, in Gongliao District, New Taipei, was formerly operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration before it was transferred to the Tourism Bureau branch.
The administration and Fullon Hotels and Resorts will jointly hold activities on June 22, inviting the former staff and people who were born on June 22, 1957, as well as the general public to celebrate the resort's anniversary.
The hotel has also offered four free rooms for the former staff and those born on June 22, 1957, on the night of June 21.
