Taipei, June 26 (CNA) Taiwan's Chan Yung-jan and Martina Hingis of Switzerland won the Mallorca Open women's doubles title in Calvia, Spain on Sunday.

Top-seeded Chan and Hingis took the title in a walkover after one of the opposing duo, Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia, was too tired to play in the doubles final after winning the singles in a three-set match. Sevastova was playing with Jelena Jankovic of Serbia.

The pairing of 27-year-old Chan and 36-year-old Hingis have won three women's doubles titles this year, at Indian Wells, Madrid and Rome.

They also reached the women's doubles semifinals at the French Open in Paris in early June.

The win in Mallorca was their first on grass as they prepare for Wimbledon, which starts in early July.
