Taipei, July 11 (CNA) Paraguay will issue a commemorative two-stamp set on Wednesday to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Republic of China (Taiwan), Chunghwa Post Co., Taiwan's official postal service, said on Tuesday.

Chunghwa Post said its Taipei Post Office will be commissioned to sell the commemorative stamps.

The stamps depict the two countries' presidential office buildings and national flags with the number 60, symbolizing the long-term diplomatic ties between the two nations, according to the company.

A total of 700 stamp folders will be available from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday at Taipei's Beimen Post Office, each one containing a set of commemorative stamps, a first-day cover and folder. The retail price will be NT$130 (US$4.34). Meanwhile, a first-day commemorative postmark engraved in Paraguay will also be part of the package, Chunghwa Post said.
