Taipei, July 14 (CNA) Taiwanese-American NBA player Jeremy Lin will visit Taiwan on the first stop of his Asia tour from July 16 to 23. While in Taiwan, Lin will attend a promotional campaign for his sports brand and play basketball with singer Jam Hsiao.
Lin's 8-day visit to Taiwan begins on Sunday with a media interview in Xinyi District in the afternoon, followed by a basketball game with Hsiao in a court near the Taipei 101 at night.
In addition to attending the sports brand promotional event, Lin will also take part in an as yet unscheduled charitable activity during the first four days. On July 20-21, he will attend a basketball training camp held at National Taiwan University of Sport in Taichung, central Taiwan.
Lin is also scheduled to show up at a meet-and-greet event at Tunghai University in Taichung on July 21 and a seminar in the city on July 22 to discuss his experience of becoming a professional basketball player.
