Taipei, Aug. 21 (CNA) Taiwanese roller sports athlete Chen Yan-cheng finished first in the roller sports men's 10,000m points-elimination final at the Taipei Unviersiade on Monday, winning the country's first gold at the games.
Chen won the competition with 20 points, followed by fellow Taiwanese athlete Ko Fu-shiuan with 13 points, who snagged the silver medal.
The results sent Taiwan's medal counts to one gold, two silvers and two bronzes as of noon Monday.
