Taipei, Aug. 24 (CNA) Yang Chun-han, dubbed the fastest man in Taiwan, on Thursday clocked 10.22 seconds to win the gold medal in the men's 100-meter dash at the Taipei Universiade.
South African sprinter Thando Roto claimed silver in 10.24 seconds, and United States' Cameron Burrell took bronze with a time of 10.27 seconds.
Earlier in the evening, Yang ran 10.20 seconds to finish top in his group at the semi-finals, achieving his personal best time and breaking Taiwan's national record of 10.22 seconds that he set in May.
