Taipei, Sept. 3 (CNA) The Quemoy International Music Festival closed Wednesday with a climax of headlining performances from superstars Hsiao Huang-chi and A-Lin.
The four hour musical feast on the last day of the festival attracted nearly 10,000 people.
The closing event started at 6 p.m. with host Daniel Chen, and Iron Horn hyping up the crowd for rapper Shen Yi, Elvis Tian and other popular pop stars and bands before Hsiao Huang-chi and A-Lin blew the crowd away with their hit songs.
The two-month long music festival, the first of its kind, was held between July 1 and August 30 at the Houhu Seashore Park on the outlying island of Kinmen and was opened by local rock icon Wu Bai.
