Taipei, Sept. 16 (CNA) American pop rock band OneRepublic landed in Taiwan on Saturday afternoon ahead of their first concert in the country on Sunday night.

The five-member band, whose hits include "Good Life," Counting Stars" and "Apologize," will perform on Sunday starting at 7:30 p.m. at Taipei Nangang's CTBC Financial Park.

The concert is the second stop of the Asia leg of OneRepublic's world tour, which also has stops in Singapore, Japan, China, and Thailand.

Concert promoter Live Nation Taiwan has prepared bubble tea, Taiwanese fried chicken, and xiaolong tangbao (steamed Chinese meat buns) for the band members to enjoy before the concert.

Following the Manchester bombing at Ariana Grande's concert earlier this year on May 22, Live Nation Taiwan has implemented strict security restrictions for the show, including prohibiting backpacks, long umbrellas, and capped water bottles at the venue.

The promoter has also urged concert-goers to arrive early to go through a security inspection.
