OCAC Goodwill Mission Holds 100 Shows to Celebrate 100 Years
僑委會文化訪問團「全球一百場，歡慶建國一百年」
In celebration of the Republic of China (ROC) centennial, overseas compatriots around the world are invited to feast their eyes on the best of Taiwanese culture. The Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission (OCAC) has organized the ROC Centennial Goodwill Mission, which also supports annual Taiwanese festivals in North America, to stage 100 shows around the world with A-listers from Taiwan's arts and entertainment industry.
為慶賀中華民國100歲生日，並讓全球僑胞享受整年的台灣優質文化饗宴，僑委會特別籌組了慶祝中華民國建國100年文化訪問團（含支授北美地區台灣傳統週訪演團），將有多樣化的國內藝文團體赴全球各地，進行100場次的演出。
Top Notch Performers Shine on World Tour
全球巡演 精銳盡出
In honor of the founding of the ROC 100 years ago, the OCAC Goodwill Mission will visit five continents. During the Chinese New Year, the vocal band Semiscon will tour Southeast Asia and Tokyo, Japan; Hu Gua, Tseng Hsin-mei, Ma Shi Li, and Eddy will tour Central and South America; and other performance artists from Taiwan will tour Europe. In March, the Ming Hwa Yuan Arts & Cultural Group, Fang Fang, Frankie Gao, Fu Way, Siu Leung Go, Sharon Li, Christine Ko, and the Hakka Blue Shirt Song & Dance Troupe will headline a mission tour of North America and Osaka, Japan, where they will dazzle audiences with Taiwan’s diverse cultural heritage. In May, the OCAC will send musicians, traditional acrobats, and folk artisans to tour North America to support annual Taiwanese festivals and ROC centennial celebrations.
中華民國建國100年，僑委會的海外文化訪問團足跡將踏遍全球五大洲，春節期間，神秘失控人聲樂團將赴東南亞及日本東京巡演，中南美洲僑團邀請胡瓜、曾心梅、馬世莉及歐弟等人前往演出，而歐洲地區也將有國內表演團體赴當地巡演；三月春暖花開時期，以台灣多元文化為演出主軸、演出陣容包括明華園、方芳、高凌風、傅薇、小亮哥、李宣榕、葛曉潔及客家藍衫樂舞集的訪問團將赴美加及日本大阪演出；僑委會也在五月遴派音樂歌唱類、民俗體育類及民俗藝師類三團赴美加地區，支援台灣傳統週及中華民國建國100年慶祝活動。
On Double Ten National Day, Taiwanese performance groups will pull out all the stops to celebrate the founding of the ROC. The Musou Band, an all-female band that combines beauty with traditional Chinese instruments, will tour major cities in North America. Chen Mei-fong, Shin Lung, Maggie Teng, Luo Mei-ling, and Hung Pai Hui will headline at other venues in North America, where they will tug at the heartstrings of overseas compatriots with songs about their native land. The Bashu San Bian will also perform their magic and illusion show. A favorite for people of all ages is the Diabolo Dance Theater, which will tour Oceania to promote Taiwanese culture and creativity. Wang Rui Yu, Ran Xiao Ling, Wang Hai-po, Peng Li, the A-Chung Taiwanese Puppet Show, and Zhan Li-ren will headline the Goodwill Mission to Africa.
雙十國慶期間，國內表演團體精銳盡出，為國家慶生，美女國樂天團「無又又樂團」將赴美加各大城市演出；陳美鳳、辛龍、鄧妙華、羅美玲、洪百慧等人也將前往美加其他地區，為僑胞帶來充滿愛鄉情懷的歌唱表演，另外還會有巴蜀三變（魔術、幻術表演）的奇幻演出；老少咸宜的舞鈴劇場將赴大洋洲，推展台灣的文化創意表演；非洲地區的文化訪問團陣容則有王瑞瑜、冉肖玲、王海波、彭立、阿忠布袋戲及粘立人等人。
Boost Participation in Cultural Activities
文化輸出 擴大參與
In honor of the ROC centennial, this year the OCAC has expanded the role of Goodwill Missions to support overseas compatriot communities with various celebrations. Overseas compatriots and local friends are invited to join in the celebrations. Through arts and entertainment, Taiwan would like to express the high esteem it holds for overseas compatriots. The arts provide an opportunity to invite the world see and appreciate the real Taiwan, and to expand cultural diplomacy. May these 100 shows celebrating the first 100 years of the ROC successfully launch an auspicious new century for Taiwan.
配合中華民國建國100年，僑委會此次擴大辦理文化訪問團赴全球巡迴演出，支援僑界辦理各項慶祝活動，邀請海外同胞與主流社會人士一同參與慶祝活動，同時也藉由藝文團體的舞台魅力，讓旅居海外的僑胞感受來自國內的關懷與熱情，並使友邦人士認識台灣、喜愛台灣，拓展文化外交，「全球一百場，歡慶建國一百年」，為下一個100年開展新局。
