OCAC Minister Shyh-kwei Chen arrived in Jakarta Indonesia on June 15 for a three-day visit. This was his first visit to Jakarta after taking over office.
僑委會委員長陳士魁6月15日抵達印尼雅加達，展開3天拜會參訪行程，這是他上任後首次造訪雅加達。
Minister Chen visited , respectively, the Yayasan Suaka Insan and Taiwan Business Club Jakarta on June 15 and affirmed the important roles played by these two organizations in Indonesian society and the assistance provided by them to the OCAC with regarding overseas Chinese affairs work.
陳委員長15日分別拜會印尼廣肇總會、雅加達臺灣工商聯誼會，肯定二會在印尼社會扮演重要角色及協助僑委會推展僑務工作。
The overseas Chinese community in Jakarta held a dinner in honor of Minister Chen on June 15, with the 200 attendees including Taiwan’s official representative and deputy representative in Indonesia, Liang-jen Chang and PhoebeYeh, and Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Section Shu-hua Wang. In his speech, Minister Chen said that the OCAC is the platform for assisting overseas Taiwan businesses development, as well as the platform for communication between overseas Chinese and the government. He encouraged the Indonesian overseas Chinese community to continue to support the ROC and love Taiwan.
雅加達僑界15日晚間舉行Y僑宴歡迎陳委員長，出席人員包括駐印尼代表張良任、副代表葉非比、僑務組長汪樹華等約200人。陳委員長致詞表示，僑委會是協助海外臺商發展事業的平臺，也是海外僑胞與政府溝通的平臺，他期勉印尼僑界繼續支持中華民國，一起愛臺灣。
On June 16, Minister Chen visited the Yayasan Keluarga Pintu Mas (Jakarta Kinmen Mutual Help Fund) and expressed the hope that the organization will continue to promote the welfare of overseas Chinese in Indonesia. Additionally the minister also met with over 40 overseas Chinese honorary members for discussions on the same day.
陳委員長16日拜會雅加達金門互助基金會，期勉繼續為旅居印尼的鄉親謀取福利。另於同日與印尼地區僑務榮譽職人員座談，共40餘人參加。
