Taipei, Oct. 10 (CNA) Taiwan's men's national soccer team defeated Bahrain 2-1 in the 2019 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup qualifiers at the Taipei Stadium Tuesday.
Bahrain was leading 1-0 after half time when Xavier Chen made a long pass to Chen Po-liang who was in front of the goal and struck the ball in to tie the game at 1-1.
Less than three minutes later, Chen Hao-wei lofted the ball to be received by Chu En-le , who headered it between the posts to score Taiwan's second goal and win the match.
