Taiwan Daddies in Vancouver held an event to support Taiwan’s entry into the UN and promote “Taiwan Can Help" in Richmond on September 5. Jerry Hsia (Hsia Chi-lu,) director of the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Vancouver attended. He spoke out to the international community together with 25 members of the group and invited the 23.5 million Taiwanese people to look forward to taking part in the UN system
The 76th UN General Assembly will open on September 14, 2021 and the general debate will take place from September 21 to 26. Taiwan is willing and is able to make a substantive contribution to the UN system and calls on the UN to accept Taiwan’s equal participation at an early date to facilitate the achievement of the UN SDG.
