Six Bay Area associations held a press conference on September 10 in which support was expressed for Taiwan’s entry into the UN. The attending association representatives called on the UN to take the substantive contribution Taiwan can make to post-pandemic recovery and sustainable reconstruction and determination to pay back the international community seriously.

The 76th UN General Assembly will begin on September 14. All the chairpersons and representatives in attendance stated that now is the time for the UN to include Taiwan and let Taiwan help and that the UN should immediately take action to allow the 23.5 million people in Taiwan to participate.
