Troy Daze, an annual family event held in Troy City, Michigan, was held in strong sunshine at Troy Civic Center recently. This year, the organizer’s invited FASCA Michigan to take part and perform. Teacher Chen Qing-qing also invited the Michigan Lion Dance Troupe to join the performance team representing Taiwan.
Troy City Mayor Mr. Ethan Baker personally received the Taiwan performance team. He gave high affirmation to our participation and expressed his deep pride in Toy’s multicultural character; this doesn’t only display the background of each ethnic group in the city, it also shows different faces of Troy City. Mayor Baker was very pleased to be able to use this opportunity to display the city’s talent and applaud their achievements. He also expressed affirmation and appreciation for the many enterprises from Asia and Taiwan in the city and promised to give these outstanding enterprises full support going forward.
