The 15th Grand Ceremony Dedicated to Confucius was held in New Jersey at Jersey Shore Chinese School (JSCS) on September 25 by the Jersey Shore Chinese School Association. It was attended by almost 500 guests, teachers, students and parents who were all there to pay their respects to the Great Sage Confucius.

Holmdel City Mayor Greg Buontempo gave a speech and presented a certificate to thank JSCS for recreating the Grand Ceremony Dedicated to Confucius to allow culture to be passed on. He also quoted the famous words of Confucius “Do as you would be done by” to encourage students to retain traditional virtues. The ceremony was also attended by over 10 local politicians including school district chairperson Vicky Flynn, Vice Chairperson Mike Sockol, and Holmdel High School Principal William Loughran.
