Decision No.7 of the Agreement on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Republic of Paraguay entered into force on 15 January 2022. The contents of the Decision grant 11 Paraguayan products, including fresh or chilled swine, frozen bovine offal, prepared or preserved meat of bovine animals (hamburger beef), other sugar confectionery, rice paper, extracts of tea or mate, other food preparations, wadding of man-made fibers, and blankets of synthetic fibers, zero tariffs for importation into Taiwan. Both sides look forward to the benefits and business opportunities this will bring to bilateral trade.
