Director General Chou arrived at the Miami Beach Convention Center to visit 11 exhibitors in the Taiwan Pavilion at the FIME on June 21 along with Director Chen from The Economic Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Atlanta, and Director Tsai from Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). There are approximately 20,000 guests and 23 national pavilions at the expo, including ones from Germany, Brazil, and Argentina.
Director General Chou and Director Tsai visited companies like Joson-care enterprise, which expertise in electric bed; Surglasses, which focus on Augmented Reality (AR) surgical navigation system; SciVisino BioTech Inc., which sells synovial fluid supplement; Relajet Tech., which specializes in hearing aid; Sundex Corp., which specializes in bandages and scar removal products; UGym, which specializes in pocket medical stimulator; Skinplus, which makes disposable skin stapler; Lee-Mei Enterprise, which produces SoFF pad; Copioumed, which manufactures surgical gowns; AnesTek Corp., which specializes in professional video rhinolaryngoscope stylet; and Shyicare, which develops ergonomic products. People from all around the world exchanged business possibilities and ideas during the event. Director Chou and Manager Kao enthusiastically encouraged one of the Taiwanese exhibitors by purchasing their products immediately after using the Ergonomics cushion. They claimed that the cushion eases the discomfort associated with prolonged desk work.
TECO and Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Miami (TCCM) co-hosted a networking event not only to welcome the Taiwanese medical equipment exhibitors to Miami, but also to present their innovative products. Taiwnese business owners、members of TCCM and media were invited to visit the Taiwan Pavilion. The exhibition helped the exhibitors gain lots of opportunities and insights for their company and future products.
