A French singer of Taiwanese descent has been making waves in France's jazz music scene with her unique vocal style.
There's a good chance that those visiting top jazz establishments in France, particularly in Paris, will come across a recital or concert featuring Estelle Perrault, a 31-year-old trilingual songstress who grew up between Taiwan, France and Canada.
Following the 2021 release of her second studio album, "Dare to Dream," Perrault's vocals were praised as being comparable to those of famous 1950s performers, such as Shirley Horn.
Perrault, then regarded as a rising star by fellow Parisian artists, managed to secure a third album deal with record label "Art District Music," with recording sessions scheduled for October this year.
