Taipei, Aug. 28 (CNA) A blue-colored vintage train will operate in northern Taiwan for the first time next month as part of a special tour featuring an onboard exhibition and visits to local communities, the Preparatory Office of National Railway Museum said Monday.
The tour will be available twice a day between Nangang and Yilan stations from Sept. 9-17, offering passengers a ride on the Breezy Blue, a diesel-powered tourist train which usually runs on the South Link Line connecting Taitung and Pingtung counties in southern Taiwan, the office said in a statement.

The train will run in different directions at different times, with a maximum capacity of 160 passengers, the office said.

Moreover, they will also stop at Dali station which is famous for its view of the Pacific Ocean from the station platform, according to the office.
Passengers can also visit a special onboard exhibition while enjoying ocean views along the northern coastal line, which have appeared in movies including "A City of Sadness," "A Flower in the Raining Night" and "Island Etude," according to the office.
