The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce - Junior Chapter (ETCC-JC) held their annual meeting from December 1st to 3rd at the Taipei Representative Office in Hamburg. The ETCC-JC president Tsung-Han Liu and his core team invited Taiwanese Young Entrepreneurs and special guests from all over Europe and the world to join this event.
The Director of the Economic Division and the Secretary of the Overseas Community Affairs Division from the Taipei Representative Office in the Federal Republic of Germany (Berlin), the Director and the Secretary of the Taipei Representative Office in Hamburg, the ETCCJC president, supervisor and treasurer attended this meeting to encourage Taiwanese Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals. In total, 45 people came from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, UK ,and Sweden.
The first stop was a visit to the Chamber of Commerce and the Stock Exchange in Hamburg located in a historic building that is older than the Town hall in the back of it. The tour started with an introduction of the history of Germany's oldest Chamber of Commerce and the current work. Then the group was guided through the historic building and the impressive Library of Commerce. After strolling down the traditional German Christmas Markets in the city Center, the group enjoyed a cozy Welcome Dinner on the Alster-Dinner-Cruise.
During the ETCC-JC board meeting, presidents of the Taiwanese Junior Chambers from Austria, Germany, Portugal, and Turkey reported about their current situation and recent activities. Invited speakers shared their expertise in diverse topics from the application of AI tools in small and middle-sized businesses, sports and health, and starting a business in the food industry and networking. All seminars and workshops were designed in an interactive style so that all participants could get to know each other and exchange in a very relaxed atmosphere. The event was a great opportunity for Taiwanese Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals to network and learn from different businesses and industries.
The Sponsors of this event not only supported the ETCC-JC financially but also provided traditional Taiwanese specialties from different brands, including soup bases and sauces, pastries from Teammate Pang and Long Fong Tarng for tasting, and Taiwanese Tea from Leafhopper as souvenirs. Also, precious gifts were donated, including return flight tickets to Taiwan from China Airlines and Eva Air, gift boxes, vouchers and a variety of other presents.
On the last day, the ETCC-JC core team and local members from Hamburg showed their guests Hamburg’s secret sights through a fun CityGame and the famous International Maritime Museum. The participants were very enthusiastic and some were even motivated to become member of their local Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce which shows the success of the annual meeting.
