Ahead of Taiwan President Lai Ching-te’s first overseas trip since taking office, air defense drills have been carried out in anticipation of potential Chinese military drills in the coming days. Meanwhile, Taiwan and China seem to be making progress in talks to open back up tourism, but neither side wants to make the first move. And on the heels of Team Taiwan's historic WBSC Premier12 baseball championship win, the question among fans of the sport is how the country can build on the win for longer-term success. Plus:
