According to jury panel convener Kuan Ling-chih (官靈芝), now in its 22nd edition, the Contest saw enthusiastic participation from young people in mother-tongue music creation. She noted that the annual event deeply impressed the jury and emphasized that original music composition is a valuable long-term investment.

Vice Minister Hsu remarked that the Contest not only helps preserve and transmit culture but also strengthens the local music scene and cultivates talent. She added that the Ministry of Culture, the Hakka Affairs Council, and the Council of Indigenous Peoples will continue working together to expand the Contest and drive the development of Taiwan’s pop music industry.

According to the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development, a concert featuring outstanding performances by the finalists will be held at the Huashan Cultural and Creative Park on Sept. 27.
