Taipei, March 12 (CNA) Nvidia Corp. founder and CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) will deliver the first keynote speech of Computex Taipei 2025, according to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), one of the organizers of the trade show.

In a statement Tuesday, the council said Huang's speech, to be held at the Taipei Music Center on May 19 at 11 a.m. Taipei time and livestreamed, will outline the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI) and accelerated computing technologies.

The council said Nvidia, as a leader in AI development, continues to push the boundaries of innovation in accelerated computing, physical AI, agentic AI (creating autonomous solutions), and scientific discovery, the council said.

Huang's speech is expected to offer insight into how his company is shaping the future with AI and connecting with industry leaders to co-create a better future, the council said.

Computex 2025, one of the largest electronics trade exhibitions in the world, will be held May 20-23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall and feature nearly 1,400 exhibitors from around the world, the council said.

This year's exhibition will focus on three major themes -- AI & Robotics, Next-Gen Tech, and Future Mobility -- it said.

In addition to Huang's keynote speech, many in Taiwan will be watching to see if he announces a location in Taiwan to build an overseas headquarters for his company.

In January, Huang said he was seeking a venue in Taiwan for the overseas headquarters and could "announce something" at Computex 2025.
