The US and Taiwan have wrapped up the sixth round of the Economic Prosperity Partnership Dialogue in Washington, with negotiators signing a joint statement on AI and supply chain security. The talks highlighted cooperation on critical minerals, drones and work in third countries, alongside long-standing issues such as double taxation. A joint statement on the US-led Pax Silica initiative was also signed but it remains unclear if Taiwan is an official signatory to the framework.
