Taiwan’s Centers for Disease Control has upgraded its travel advisory for the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda to “alert” status as Ebola cases rise in central Africa. CDC officials are urging travelers to take precautions and monitor their health for 21 days after returning from affected areas, but say the risk to Taiwan remains low due to limited travel between Taiwan and central Africa.
