Taiwan has been chosen to host qualifier games for the 2027 WBSC Premier12, a major international baseball tournament. Taiwan's men's team, competing as Chinese Taipei, won its first-ever championship at the Premier12 tournament in 2024. This time, the team is aiming for a ticket to the upcoming Olympics in Los Angeles but will need to top the Premier12 Asia roster first. If this doesn’t happen, the team will still have a shot at the final Olympic qualifier, also held in Taiwan. The games will be held from November next year.
