Taipei, Sept. 22 (CNA) Award-winning photos by migrant workers are on display in an exhibition at the National Theater and Concert Hall (NTCH) gallery in Taipei, organizers said Tuesday.

Titled "Sundays Unseen," the exhibition brings together winning entries from all seven editions of the Migrant International Photography Awards, organized since 2019 by One-Forty, a nongovernmental organization dedicated to empowering migrant workers.

The photographs offer glimpses into migrant workers' everyday lives, from factory floors, dormitories and caregiving to moments of rest, faith and homesickness, as well as their personal dreams and creative expression, according to One-Forty.

The exhibition is part of NTCH's flagship Artquake in Autumn project, launched in 2021. This is the first year the annual event has featured work by migrant workers.

Maurice Wang (王統生), head of NTCH's Communications Department, said the exhibition aims to encourage greater understanding and empathy among people from different cultural backgrounds.

The free exhibition opened Sunday and runs through Nov. 29.
