As Ukraine marks the third anniversary of the Russian invasion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has offered to step down in return for peace and NATO membership. Meanwhile, a group of activists in Taipei marked the occasion with a show of solidarity outside Russia's representative office. And President Lai Ching-te has met with families of victims of the 228 incident who now live overseas. Plus:   

-Germany's conservative opposition alliance has declared victory in the country's elections, while the far-right Alternative for Germany doubled its support to claim second place.  
-Poland's de facto embassy in Taiwan also held an event to mark the third anniversary of the Ukraine war, focusing on the experiences of civilians affected by the conflict.
