New Taiwanese data on long-term survival rates for eleven types of cancer shows that while some types of cancer have a strong chance of successful treatment, patients with other types of cancer, especially pancreatic, have a low chance of surviving five years after treatment. Taiwan's health insurance ministry is promoting early detection and screening through its health app to detect and treat cancer more effectively.
